Yes, dead skin but not scabs.
I usually eat the dead skin from the inside of my mouth and beside my finger-nails on either side.
Bad habit is all, but it isn't hurting me so who cares.

I eat everything that comes out of my skin. Scabs, hangnails, pus, anything. It all tastes good.

, it started with just dried lip skin when I was 5 but I later realized that all of what you mentioned had in common a flavor that wasn't found in anything else.
