It makes sense that someone so anal about cleanliness he washes his hands so much they end up dried and cracked isn't willing to wear someone else's clothes.

T-shirts are cleaned more often than any of the things you listed albeit. I'd never buy a used hat
This reminds me of when I bought an old eBay employee fleece that I was excited to get just for its "large" size to be a damn lie and not fit at all, it was probably made for people shorter and stouter than myself because a large usually fits.

No. Quality jackets/jeans last 5+ years so it's not a huge investment. For other everyday items of clothing I just buy plain cheap as shit t-shirts and sweaters. The jogging/workout clothes have limited wash cycles, so if you want it to be quickdry or whatever it's called, you have to buy new or else you're just gambling. If you live in a rich country where people discard their clothes after basically not wearing them at all, maybe it's different.
