Old reply but I think Gaetz conned Trump, the appointment gave him a perfect excuse to resign before the ethics probe finished their investigation into him. Also, he withdrew himself at the slightest pushback even though guys like Brett kavanaugh got through fine. In my opinion, he had that job lined up with newsmax from the very beginning. That said, he would have made the perfect attorney general. Pam Bondi is probably okay though IDK.

They will, hegseth was the most difficult appointment to get, of all the people I thought was going to need a recess appointment it would have been him.

In my opinion historical claims to a region are moot, if you aren't strong enough to keep your land it rightfully belongs to the victor. For example: the Vietnamese deserve to keep there land because they managed to resist enough to keep it. Indians and Gazans on the other hand... It's time to move on. You weren't able to protect what's yours.
