Just looked it up, a souped up fvwm is enticing to say the least. I might run it on my desktop, I want to keep the Thinkpad as light as possible and I'm comfortable with wmaker as it is.

I don't use that for that purpose actually, I mainly use it for a bit of fun yknow, I saw this movie called "The Shitty Bob Show" (episode 1) by Gavin Owers and it had a pretty unique voice changer, you know why it was unique? it's because when going into the speech directory in the .3mm file, the .wav extension is absent, so that must mean Gavin had used some pretty obsucre windows software that nobody had ever heard of (probably he found it in like a shareware/freeware CD with bunch of other stuff on it) or he had used a special microphone to pull the effects off, so i use that voice changer sometimes for 3dmming, as for the shitty bob show itself, you can watch it here (archived by yours truly, and censored by myself):
