I remember there being a thread about it in /q/. Broot said that he would remove conversations because they might be a "mini discord"

Ah, I didn't see that. Still annoying though because I doubt staff members read things submitted from the "Contact us" form. I wanted to get my username changed (selfish little fuck i know) without waiting 1488 niggertillion years but that ain't gonna happen... shieeeet!

This might turn into a 'cordlike feature. A solution to this might be to just disable file embedding in convos, but that's up to him to see
