Old Duke is a joke, he's the only post hardmode boss I usually skip. Funny that calamity goes 0/2 for good sulfuric sea boss fights., they really dropped the ball with that biome. Unfortunately I think the guys had better stuff to do this 4th of July because nobody's been on besides myself to do some prep. Prov is usually easy so I don't forsee any problems until the ceaseless void or maybe the devourer.

I remember dog being a massive joke, I used to dps test it often. Them again I never tried death mode since I feel like it was unnecessary and didn't add much rewards or excluse stuff; I do agree void can be troubling if you're too carefree. I also feel like the real boss of the sulfuric sea are the tier 3 acid rain mobs spamming attacks nonstop.

The devourer isn't a joke but not the end of the world, if you're careless he'll take a casual 750 off your healthbar (maybe you can live this if you use the blood pact or lifeforce pots) and you'll die instantly but that's just how worms work. Death mode doesn't actually buff health and damage on top of master so its the same as master + rev just the AI changes remain. See I have a rocky relationship with the Ceaseless Void because it is pure dodging and is really tough, the other two sentinels of the devourer are easy as cake. Just circle the storm weaver and signus is hard countered by running in one direction, but Drew was making a disaster with the Ceaseless. It's one of the most original bosses in the mod because its like nothing in vanilla so I do enjoy it but I think its the hardest boss in post hardmode until you get to Yharon. Imma be fr, in all the times I've played calamity I've never done acid rain because nothing I've ever wanted to craft needed me to do it and all I know it for is appearing in the bottom left and telling me its going on. The most acid rain is to me is an annoyance while trying to visit the abyss.

Usually if you main summoner you're forced to do an acid rain for a drop or two, since one is for an accessory upgrade I think, and another is for some sort of hydra minion nobody uses. Anyway, ceaseless void is easily a memorable boss, despite it being a "mini-boss" unlike austrum d*us, such a shit worm, I really hate that fucker

I consider the "stopgap" bosses (Profaned Guardians, Sentinels) to be full bosses, moreso the three sentinels because they even drop treasure bags. The Astrum Deus is just another worm on the pile, I really think the boss needs a rework, not the devourer which is getting resprited again soon. Because at the moment all the Astrum Deus is is just a test of your patience and if you won't fall asleep while fighting to dodge the astral mines, for being "The God of the Night Sky" it doesn't bring the energy. I honestly believe the Astrum Aureus is a better boss despite it not being great itself. If you wanna talk about shit worms there's the Aquatic Scourge, an early hardmode boss which is so easy a 6 year old could do it on the hardest difficulty and it doesn't even drop anything for your distinct lack of effort.

Due to the lack of NPC/Item ban mods... You have until August 1st to complete the mod.
I will not tolerate trooniggery on my servers and my infrastructures. By August 1st, the server will be clittywiped and we will either play a good mod that has no troonshittery like Thorium or something, or I will embark on a new project.
