While it may seem off putting to some, animal blood is consumed around the world by a lot of different cultures. Does your country/culture have a tradition of eating animal blood? What are the most representative animal blood dishes there? Is it forbidden to eat animal blood in your country?

I really like eating blood sausages from North Eastern China it's like pig blood, pig fat and spices stuffed into pig intestines and then usually cooked along with saurkraut and sliced pork. Absolutely delicious stuff, very filling and helps to fend against the -30 degrees celcius weather that usually pops around during winters in places like Heilongjiang and Liaoning.
