Just ban VPN's from the shclauwihg and it really becomes a whole lot easier to tell who's who.

The privacy benefits of allowing VPNs probably outweighs the negatives. Jannies should just be more proactive about sweeping up low quality threads and derailment posts.

Do not do this, the downsides of VPN use on a forum are much less significant than on an image board and I am glad that it is allowed

Well I mean some of these alts are of guys who we really, really, really don't want here. So either they find a new way to ignore VPNS in a way they can tell alt from regular user, or it's just tough luck, you can blame the people who used VPN's for wrongdoing and got them banned.
