I often ramble about skeuomorphism and shit. Most of my favorite visual trends tend to be flat, they can be so extremely pretty.
Colorful "retrofuturistic" themed stuff tends to be my favorite, especially bubbly-looking stuff. Its difficult to describe, but im sure the visual examples will make it clearer.
I wish modern advertisements had the same type of execution that made these so appealing and colorful. Music videos, channel IDs, websites, all that type of shit.
The Locomotion channel is my favorite example. Besides the fact they aired some of my favorite shit ever the channels identity and graphics are so unbelievably amazing its a shame this style is almost never seen nowadays. I guess it makes sense since the new wave of modern flat design is cheaper, and easier. I wish stuff looked this fun more often. These are like my main influence for most art related shit i do, and probably my interest in graphic design type shit. I dont know but its a fascination ive had since forever. Besides just drawfagging i should probably learn video editing too to apply everything i had in mind for art stuff.
