Spergs usually remain reclusive both in real life and on the internet, hence why the really big spergs hang out on site likes Deviantart because it allows for them to be as self-indulgent as possible in their particular interest.

Internet anonymity is beneficial in the case that some people don't want and shouldn't have to reveal everything about themselves, or else every other site would just be Faceberg.
If I remember correctly, for a period of time when you had to have a Google+ account in order to have a Youtube account, they would actually display your real name/email name instead of the username you gave yourself prior to that update.
You also had the current Spanish PM in support of and discussing the idea of widespread internet IDs to make "social media democratic" and shit, which is just an ulterior motive to enforce censorship and destroy freedom of speech online; if you say something that isn't "democratic" or goes against the "democratic" ideology.
(You) yourself have a level of anonymity on the site, you haven't revealed everything about yourself like your name, your face, your birthday, etcetera.

...Though personally, there should be online IDs instated for porn sites. If somebody has to be of a certain age to buy alcohol and also needs to have the proper ID for it then the same logic should be applied to porn and porn sites.
