I had great uncles on both my family's sides that fought for the South Vietnamese military. Most of them left during the fall of Saigon. My dad's family stayed behind because mu Ông Nội had to take care of my Ông Cố, and my mom's family stayed behind because my Bà Ngoại's siblings couldn't find them before they left.

It was very chaotic in those final hours, I wouldnt be surprised on how many families were seperated in those last days

erm more evil than prolonging a war which killed millions? including hundreds of thousands in cities and towns from US bombs
if xey wanted communism why not just let them have it, xey accept markets and barely anyone there takes marxism seriously now anyway
