Rant Anyone else find 2d mario unfun and extremely difficult?

this, i never understood all the glazing donkey kong country got.
Donkey Kong country was revolutionary for its time because of its use of prerendered 3-D graphics but in the now it's not great, its just a boring platformer. A friend of mine tried to put me on but I wasn't having it, to me its all the N64 era Rare glaze that kills me, people say goldeneye 64 was so great when reality quake came out around the same time and that was a way better game and Nintendo fans just suck off banjo kazooie despite those games being mediocre collect-a-thons that sold as well as croc, and not even Rare simps like DK64 these days.

I think a lot of it is just nostalgia. I replayed LEGO pirates of the caribbean recently. And it's actually a lot smaller than I remember it being. I also tried lego indiana jones the original adventures and it's a LOT rougher than I remember.

Rare games are super overhyped, nothing they made was all that revolutionary. Bungie made better games.
Trvthnvke, I tried playing Banjo Kazooie once and got bored after 20 minutes, this shit is genuinely so boring how do ‘tendies enjoy this
