Discussion any of you own a steam deck? if so how do you like it?

im probably gonna sell my xbox and get an lcd one along with a dock. dont plan on using it as a portable game system and will have it docked 99% of the time. does the fan get loud? can it run older AAA games (maybe like fallout 4) at 1080p/30fps? someone on /g/ recommended it to me and it's looking a lot more appealing than upgrading an old workstation.

the only game i play is jurassic world: the game.. but i am interested in a steam deck!!

The fans aren't that loud. Fallout 4 runs at around 60 FPS on it but it might differ in your use case.

It's a great device but you may have to enter Desktop Mode through the ui every time you start up if you just want to use it for normal pc stuff

you can disable that in settings
