im bingewatching old annoying orange videos.​

Come join me in this venture and let's talk about old annoying orange together.
Lets go back to a time where Annoying Orange wasn't run by trannies and Minecraft was at it's peak.

I find the lore of annoying orange to be extremely intriguing, like how all oranges are just annoying, knowing this makes orange actually come off as quite normal in comparison, like he's not even really annoying, he's just an orange. Like when it gets to the point that OTHER ORANGES annoy the "Annoying" Orange, he's really not that annoying. Though, I guess he got worse over time.


Fun Fact: Annoying Orange 7 had censored swearing, I don't know if they ever stopped doing that overtime for the kiddies.


Annoying Orange used to be way better back in the day, even 10 years ago their gaming channel was pretty awesome, albeit a weird direction for them to go in.
The Minecraft server was the best thing ever, featuring all their mascots and a great community, albeit consisting of children, but I was one of them.


My favourite Minecraft videos of them was Pear and Orange playing skywars. The way Pear and Orange interacts feels so authentic, and obviously most people self insert as Pear.
I'm more of an apple kind of guy, though.


This is Splatter Up, a game I still have installed on my phone and play to this very day. It's one of the best mobile games ever made... well, besides from paying for the powerups.
It is the NUMBER ONE fruit murder simulator. You can tell when they die, when they stop screaming. Not very fond of the apple torture though.

Only good episodes were the ones on DaneBoe’s channel, the rest are grating and I regret ever enjoying them as a child

Anyways. Wouldn't exactly be Annoying Orange without mentioning some Annoying Orange fan content that I quite enjoy.


In particular, this video takes Annoying Orange to a completely new level by imagining Annoying Orange in a very dark and griddy atmosphere where the Fruit Torture is much more severe.
It's not even that out of reach when you think about it, though, because in many of Dane's videos, fruit and vegetables go through the worst torture imaginable and it's such a daily occurence that they're all desensitized to it... I wonder if the admins here would ban fruit gore. I WILL NOT TOLERATE FRUIT GORE IN MY THREAD! AAAA! nah jk

The more you think about it, the more interesting it is, just how much characters are tortured, but why is Orange spared, is it because he's smarter, or is he a rotten orange? Perhaps Dane Boe seems to just really like him as it's proven that these objects can talk to humans...


which means their screams for help are audible... oh dear god...

The annoying orange's lore is genuinely more interesting than most things these days.

So grapefruit dies in "Passion of the Fruit" aka Annoying Orange 7.


And then HE COMES BACK TO LIFE, somehow. Well, not really.
What's weird is that fruits can be turned into sauces and get eaten, so how do fruits and vegetables die? By being eaten?
Considering that they can scream in pain AFTER being cut open and getting scooped out and still be alive as Sauces or food products makes me believe they're more powerful than we know.
How does one kill a fruit or vegetable? Also in the annoying orange universe, footballs and inanimate objects are alive too and they seem to be invincible.


Alas in the video, it is explained that "Grapefruit" is actually Grapefruit's sister and Grapefruit's family members come on too.
So the Grapefruit that joins the gang later on is actually a family member or a clone.
Kind of reminds me of Kenny from South Park, except it's like a Brother or a family member that comes back or something and they all just act the same.
Similar to how all oranges are annoying, all Grapefruits are macho and super buff.


Anyways I just saw The Onion Ring (annoying orange is literally horrifying), Wasssabi, Pain-apple and Pacmania.
Orange's neverending boredom is so relatable. I would say he's literally me, but I'm an apple, and I'll never literally be an orange.

Bit of some interesting copyright lore/law while searching for the background theme of Annoying Orange.
The original is called "Funny Walk" by Ilya Kaplan, Annoying Orange uses Funny Walk, but a gimped version with no whistling or vocals




A different version called "LA LA LA" by Rameez was made and is not the original but samples the original and minimally edits it.
It's quite a banging remix doe...

I think it's an inverse of survivorship bias. They just stick out like a sore thumb when they're glaringly masculine.
