Dude, I was diagnosed when I was 6 so I don't know what those arefake autists probably dont even know what ASC, SEND or EHCP even is geg
Why not just put it in your title or your signature?
alright alright, i'll tell you. I was diagnosed when I was 12 to 13ish, had some hard times in school, so after I got diagnosed I was sent to SENDco / ASC, these two acronyms stand for Special Education Needs Department and Autism Spectrum Center, if I recall correctly. These two departments essentially acted like an easier version of school for me, I only got 3 lessons a day instead of 6 and I went in at 12:00, did some lessons in the department and did some lessons outside of the department. The departments allowed me to connect with other autistic people and for most of my life all the friends I had were also autistic. I miss those chuddies so much ngl GEGDude, I was diagnosed when I was 6 so I don't know what those are
i am talking about this:Why not just put it in your title or your signature?
Yeah, I know, but I was stating that, as an alternative if they don't add your tag, you could put it elsewhere.
no i want it to specifically be added so that it shows up when you see a postYeah, I know, but I was stating that, as an alternative if they don't add your tag, you could put it elsewhere.
Yeah, I get it.no i want it to specifically be added so that it shows up when you see a post
otherwise theres no point.
I don't know anything about this, but this didn't happen, yeah.alright alright, i'll tell you. Anyways, an EHCP plan is an education and health care plan for people with disabilities that helps them get funding to enter into schools and get accomodation for things like ASC, one of my colleges nearby has a thing called "The Lodge" which is basically their version of ASC but I didn't go there because I didn't like how big and peopley it was, the cool thing about ASC is the lack of people. In all the ASCs I've been to theres only been about like 10 peopleish, but the mainstream classes were genuinely so scary and weird, I didn't like anyone there, they were weird. Some little kid called me an autistic monkey once, I laughed at him because I thought it was funny.
Anyways, if you didn't go to ASC then I guess you must have struggled through the education system without help or benefits, which sucks if you ask me.
Probably because you got diagnosed late, I got diagnosed at 5 or 6.alright alright, i'll tell you. probably one of the biggest reasons as to why I was diagnosed late was because I didn't want to be labeled as autistic and I saw it as a great detrament to my life so much so that I threw away letters that my parents were trying to get me diagnosed with and honestly the weird autism counceling happened with me as far back as primary school as teachers were struggling to manage me they came up with all sorts of random stuff, like drawing therapy, me talking to this one random woman about stuff i did that day. For some reason, I kept getting demoted in maths class so much so that they tried to create a special class for me and a bunch of other students to help us learn math betterProbably because you got diagnosed late, I got diagnosed at 5 or 6.
Nah, I did fine in school. Took APs, >3.5 GPA, I excelled in STEM subjects, but I struggled in stuff like writing and reading comprehension. I did get expelled in my first high school for being too racist, though.Anyways, if you didn't go to ASC then I guess you must have struggled through the education system without help or benefits, which sucks if you ask me.
was more like a section in the school for autists yeahspecialized school for autists
im high functioningYou had to have been past 'spergers-level autistic--like mid-to-low functioning for that.
