I don't think there's a real need for it. People have been giving this idea for a while on the 'party, but if it actually mattered to the extent that a large amount of people would commonly use it for its supposed convenience, it would have already been created.

Of course. It's still a good suggestion, very neat idea, just not very practical for the work that would have to be put into it.

It would be fine if it didn't go on the appstore. It would probably be horribly broken albeit, so you'd end up just using the site most of the time anyway.

I attempted to make one by using some APK disassembler on Blue Clover (an imageboard app that supports some altchans) and editing Lainchan's configuration files to make them work with the sharty. I thought it'd be fairly easy because soyjak.party and lainchan both use the Vichan engine, but it didn't work out all that well. I was able to view threads (although half of them had broken images) but I couldn't reply to them or make my own threads. This was about a year ago and I don't think I could even get a broken version now because of the McChallenge. I'm not a programmer anyway.
