The word for God in Vietnamese is "Chúa", which doesn't actually translate to "god" as in a deity, but means "Lord". The word for "god" as in a deity is "thần".

if I hook up with a vietnamese girl (outside of vietnam) will the viet mafia skin me alive?

I'm pretty sure all the vietnamese living here (yurop) are a part of triad or something and all their countless shops and restaurants are there to launder money (they always look angry when I pay with a card instead of cash)

I don't think the Triad works in Europe. As far as I know they're an East/SE Asia thing.

Same difference
Nah; Thailand was historically in the Indosphere (hence why they use a brahmic script), while Vietnam was historically in the Sinosphere (hence why we used to write in a Chinese-based script). Thais speak a Kra-Dai language, which is mutually intelligible with languages like Lao, while we Việt speak an Austroasiatic language, which is mutually intelligible with languages like Mường.

The world knows Jesus Christ is real. Regardless of location or race. Atheism is just denial and space is an escape. Evolution is the cover for abortion as the world falls into chaos. There's nothing new under the sun.
