In our chats together, I did speak with him about the Bible and faith for a bit, but he never did seem to really pursue it by the time he had gotten banned and I was unable to talk with him further. He said he read the first page of Genesis and then I'd guess he presumably fell asleep afterwards, perhaps from alcohol (he spoke of drinking vodka quite regularly to rid of his tendency of drinking his own blood, as he found the taste quite similar). Sadly, I don't think the interest of reading God's word to ease his mind of his heavy issues really stuck with him, as now displayed by all of what we've seen.
