I can't say I've ever actually felt irritated while watching a movie trailer before today. This is more than a shitty joke. It's as if a 12-year-old autistic kid was tasked to make a movie idea and the people in charge didn't think twice before pouring millions of dollars into making it a reality. People called the Emoji Movie bad because it was dogshit, but this is dogshit that feels like it was handcrafted and precision-engineered as a dedicated "fuck you" to the people who grew up with Minecraft back in the early-mid 2010s. Minecraft has already been in the shitter for years now, and now we're witnessing its final violent seizure before death. I wonder how Notch is feeling right now, probably like le heckin Oppenheimer o algo
