What I like to do is to try making an account the furthest away from your IP range, the further the better. Sometimes they'll check your IP range to see if you're just making accounts on cellular data or a nearby hotspot. Also don't make it too obvious, like my account that was originally a lurker alt. Registered it a state away at a Burger King guest network and used an unsuspicious username.
