i have this theory about lammy that's been running trhough my head for awhile, basically in the game, its show that she is someone who is shy around people, but when she has her guitar, she tends to become very charismatic. basically my theory is that the guitar for lammy is like a drug for her. when a person relies on a drug or substance to function, they often will feel really depressed, and have dificulty function. we see that she imagines the guitar in her mind also, this shows that she also uses it as a coping mechanism for her anixiety.
