Crusader Kings 2 is one of my favorites. Mount and Blade: Warband is another good one. I also like the Yakuza games. In terms of multiplayer gun games, I like Insurgency: Sandstorm, Battlefield 1, and Rising Storm 2: Vietnam (haven't played any in a little while albeit). I play HOI4 a bit, too.

I think it's probably caused by where these communities centralize rather than the artstyle. Often being in plebbit, discord, and Tumblr. They eventually Troon out because their heckin chonkerino ""friends"" Trooned out before them. The troons that appeared in most of these fandoms didn't exist during their earlier days or at least before not discord became mainstream. That and the culture of consooming indieslop just because it's indie which is popular with troons

Most of it is filler like halo 3, but its not very fun padding at that, the space section is stupid too and legendary mode is far too easy. Halo Reach was just a testing ground for Bungie to make Destiny, not really be its own thing.
