• Happy pride month, xisters of the schlog!

why is gore bad?

title. i don’t think obviously goring PEOPLE is a good thing but what’s the general idea of why it’s bad to see and take an interest into?
also does educational gore count as gore or are there good types of gore
As a expert, Its bad to see cause it is a form of a shock and since the early ages we consider death the worst thing, and injuries including gore are tied to death soo heres the answer o algo
But i have interest in it, you know you know

Its in our nature, We are just programmed by god to be shocked by this or that
but autists like me dont feel the shock soo idk something sparked there

The way I see it is, your eyes are a window to your soul. You feed your mind with your sight and so looking at disgusting things will have corresponding effects on your psyche and soul. Looking at nigger scat for example, even if it isn't provoking lust (duh), is still bad because it will degrade you through exposure. Disgust and shock are mechanism put into us by our creator to deter us from that which is harmful to us, or at least that's what I speculate.
But yeah, if you're a doctor and it's in your job description then it's a sacrifice you're taking, like how a soldier is taking the sacrifice of moral ramifications of committing murder

ohhhhhhh ok the scat comparison makes sense okok
so gore bad because disgusting even if not make you feel disgusting is bad bc harm and God said don’t hurt people unless u rly rly have to
yeah im gonna be stuck with that stuff anyway since my field of work is going to be facial reconstructions later on down the line, or being a mortician so i was just intrigued as the perspective of someone who’s not doing this for education

Philippians tells us we're intended to fill our minds with things that God likes. Since God doesn't like death, watching people get violently killed isn't good by Biblical standards.
>Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things. What you have learned and received and heard and seen in me—practice these things, and the God of peace will be with you.

I can't believe this faggot got me to respond to him

Seeing and taking an interest in gore can be harmful and potentially traumatic for several reasons:
  1. It can shock and distress individuals, leading to feelings of anxiety, fear, and disgust.
  2. Exposure to violent and graphic content can lead to desensitization and a reduced ability to empathize with others.
  3. It can contribute to the glorification of violence and desensitization to the pain and suffering of others.
  4. The impact of seeing gore can vary from person to person and can lead to PTSD and other mental health issues.

However, there are some circumstances where it may be beneficial. For example, medical professionals need to able to look at graphic content in order to diagnose and treat patients effectively. Forensic experts, who work closely with the law enforcement sector, may also need to examine graphic content as part of their job.

In these cases, the benefits of viewing gore - such as the ability to provide medical care or solve crimes - outweigh the potential negative effects.
