your main fear at a steel mill should be getting crushed by a drunk crane operator
most jobs at a mill don't go near hot steel anyway, maybe try looking into what job you'll actually be doing there, I recommend appointing a tour of the mill, even if you don't end up working there, seeing hot steel with your own eyes is an experience

I already live in a area with lots of high intensity agriculture i know pig smell
Steel mill for me, also, electric arc furnaces are cool as hell
 
the steel mill is very dangerous because of the molten metals, toxic dust in the air, and high temperatures
the pig farm smells awful, you'll be sweaty, and the pigs may try to attack you (300lb ones too) because they hate being caged up

No, it's for moving slag, the tires are coated in chainmail armor so that if it accidentally runs over slag it won't damage the tires.
