I was gonna go buy a controller today so I can play more of Unleashed but I think I'll wait until I get home for spring break so I can just play it on my Windows PC. Mac version doesn't seem to have mod support anyway, and I'd like to use a few mods/tweaks before I play (primarily a tweak to swap the homing attack back to A instead of the niggertarded thing that this game and every game since Frontiers does and installing the Foreign Input System mod)They did, game runs great on my M1 Pro on base settings but my controller is refusing to connect so I had to play the first two stages with MnK (which is basically impossible for the werehog)

playing the superior version rnView attachment 161473
Also I was bored so I played more of Unleashed using MnK, I figured out E was bound to the right bumper so I'm able to clear the stages while having no clue what any of the Werehog combo's are (which the game does a pathetic job of explaining and I'm pretty sure is part of the reason why no one liked the Werehog at first, game doesn't bother to teach you anything useful). Game runs okay, it runs at about 50FPS on my M1 Pro but doesn't seem to go over 50FPS for whatever reason, it'll peak at 49.99 but nothing higher.
The Java demake was objectively worse.playing the superior version rn

Play the PS2 version if you can stomach the graphical fidelity, that or play the Unwiished mod for Generations.i was actually planning on playing the wii version and i even go to the night stages but i just didn bother setting up all the motion controls and gave up
Does it really matter too much, I know the Wii has slightly better graphics but tbh both versions of Unleashed SD look like shitPlay the PS2 version if you can stomach the graphical fidelity,
The PS2 version disabled and or lowered everything it could get away with for performance reasons, from shadows to the movement of Sonics quills while dashing. The game is also hard locked to 4:3 on native hardware despite the PS2 being capable of 16:9.Does it really matter too much, I know the Wii has slightly better graphics but tbh both versions of Unleashed SD look like shit
Yeah, I know the PS2 version looks worse than the Wii version but tbh I think the game looks quite ugly on both consoles. Both Secret Rings and Black Knight looked far nicer and they were on the same consoleThe PS2 version disabled and or lowered everything it could get away with for performance reasons, from shadows to the movement of Sonics quills while dashing. is the warehog in the hd version really as slippery as in the sd? its so fucking hard to do any sort of platformingi was actually planning on playing the wii version and i even go to the night stages but i just didn bother setting up all the motion controls and gave up
I'm not sure how it compares to the Wii game but platforming as the Werehog isn't very fun in the HD version, no drop shadow either so your jumps are kind of blindis the warehog in the hd version really as slippery as in the sd? its so fucking hard to do any sort of platforming
so in the hd the platforming sucks and in the sd the controls suckI'm not sure how it compares to the Wii game but platforming as the Werehog isn't very fun in the HD version, no drop shadow either so your jumps are kind of blind
