i dont think its official, though spongebob does have an official simulator among some other stuff on roblox
i played the spongebob td game on launch day and unfortunatley it turned out to be a lot like the other td slop on roblox, where you summon units, upgrade with exp, then trade them
and when you actually place down the unit and give it an upgrade it hardly changes the model or just adds a small particle effect
tds is more of an actual td game, it doesnt have "summoning", it actually uses strategy, it gets updates weekly (also tdx but the userbase is 50% gooners unfortunatley)
