Most redditors supported Biden and Harris which are both authright
In the American political system, Biden's professional opinions were closer to being a centrist than an outright leftist, mostly because his actual opinions about given issues would've been way more controverisal and against the progressive ideology of the time he was in office for.
In 1977 he was skeptical of desegregation busing if it wasn't done in an "orderly" way because then his kids would grow up in a quote; "racial jungle with tensions having built so high that it is going to explode at some point.", while in 2006 Joe Biden openly opposed gay marriage by stating "I can't believe the American people can't see through this, we already have a law, the defensive marriage act. We all voted.. not-or I voted and others say look, marriage is between a man and a woman and states must respect that. Nobody's violated that law, there's been no challenge of that law, why do we need a constitutional amendment? Marriage is between a man and a woman. What's the game going on here?" only six years later did he change perspective, likely only persuaded by money and an (((insider influence))) and not a genuine change of perspective.
Compare this to Bernie Sanders who has had a consistent viewpoint on gay rights since at least the early 1990s.

Kamala Harris however is a progressive libtard, albeit an extremely boring one, she has nothing to say or offer and nothing to contribute, her opinions change depending on who she's with at that moment so getting a clear cut concrete answer out of her even in the most crucial of situations would at the very least be aggravating and a waste of time, and at most devastating to the American public for their own sake.
She is the physical embodiment of what was to be the climax of the progressive movement within the last decade or so, she ticked off all the shallow and vapid boxes that they were counting on, with a few exceptions like her not being a lesbian or a tranny, but regardless, in the end she failed to deliver. Also her VP pick was a retard who looked like a human bulldog.

Also, I've heard that in the final months/weeks of the Harris-Walz campaign they actually tried incorpating more right-wing centric talking points because of them beginning to lose and knowing it, but I'm unsure if that's true or not and I don't care enough to fact check it.
