Nice strawman but I never said it was widely accepted. But I did say there were examples in history where it was.
The reason premodern cultures in general did not accept homosexuality is because being gay would cause you to not conceive children, which was devastating for a family back then. But in modern times we have life insurance so this doesn't really matter, plus gays make up a small portion of society so they don't affect demographics either. There is no rational reason to oppose homosexuality anymore.
But gays were also always feared (and therefore hated) simply on account of being different and unknown. Especially abrahamic religion reinforced this fear.

You mean anal sex without contraceptives? Because if gays wear a condom that diminishes the AIDS risk to near 0. Straight people can also contract AIDS in case you didn't know. The same applies to all other STDs
It's strange how a country like Russia, which has extremely backwards LGBT laws and is famously homophobic, also has more AIDS cases than every other European country combined. Almost like gays having rights don't have anything to do with AIDS.

It would've been an okay time for gays during the "don't ask, don't tell" era back when people didn't mingle in other people's business for gossip and drama.. unless you were a prick of a woman, a fag or Richard Nixon wanting to know confidential albeit vapid details about the Democratic Party.
1980s would've been fucking rough though because of the AIDs epidemic with anybody who got it, regardless of their sexuality, people thinking of them as a fag. Did you know that Charlie Sheen is HIV positive? That man is as straight as an arrow and even he has it.

Well, I respect people like Rock Hudson or Freddie Mercury more than I do the modern generation of fags, those guys were born into a completely different era, as flamboyant as Freddie was on stage, he kept his private life private and never disclosed his sexuality until the very end when he was dying, he would've otherwise taken it to his grave, while Rock Hudson came from the era where if you were famous in Hollywood the executives in suits would decide who you would marry and other various public decisions, it would've been an open secret if you were in that circle at that time I'm sure, but that was during a time where actors genuinely kept their private lives private, you probably wouldn't even know which political party they personally endorsed if they didn't outright say it.

Fuck Liberace though, he's a fucking weirdo.

A lot of modern fags in the United States wanna be women, act like women and are degenerate as fuck because they can be, there's no modesty or dignity behind their motivations into actions, and they manipulate and contort the truth by explaining as them "just being their real selves" instead of just simply not being a degenerate, fuck pride parades, it's full blown hedonism.

I think it's fake, I don't think the lot of them are actually gay or trans, they're doing it for attention and to be "cool", before being trans was the hip thing to do it was being bisexual or "androgynous".

Same reason for why there is a rise in mental health conditions like ADHD or autism. It's fake as shit.
