MLG memes were moreso "sarcastic" memes in my opinion, since it made fun of a particular type of person who was obssessed with gaming kind of like soyjaks, but without a face, so by attributing shit like Doritos or Mountain Dew to xir's "gamer diet" and then that snowballing into just adding a bunch of other random shit that had no relevance at all like Shrek, or Lenny Face, the "wow" guy, even Michael Rosen.
