It has tournament rules but I don't know a soul that knows them, actually playing the game is better.
You know how to play the pokemon tcg? I watch them play sometimes at regional tournaments and I don't have a clue of what's going on.

I was never interested because card games are gay and literal physical DLC, and pokemon is already a deckbuilding game so if I cared about making a team I could play pokemon showdown and lose to people who are better than me there. TPC has been pushing the card game recently too with new shit coming out for it every single year like they made a mobile version of the card game earlier this year.
Well either way I’m passing along my skills to my brother, he’s a sort of Pokémon mafioso at his school now. But I don’t keep up with much Pokémon, even if I did see some while watching my brother. The industry seems to be much more westernized, and not in a good way.

THEY GIVE ANY SHITMON A 120 BP 100% ACCURATE STAB MOVE FOR NO REASON AND THEY ALL HAVE 500+ BST. The legendaries are even worse too because if you want a jumpscare go look at regieleki, its why VGC is so shit nothing is banned (except mythicals) so the worst of the worst always rises to the top.
