The story for 06 can’t really continue though, it all gets retconned in the end, the closest they’ve ever gotten to continuing it is in Shadow Generations when you’re fighting Mephiles and he’s bitching about how he wants to exist and he sounds like shit because the VA they chose has no aura
In terms of gameplay, then yeah I agree, also I’d like to see a new Sonic game that doesn’t borrow old zones again, other than Sonic Dream Team which is locked to Apple Arcade the last time we had a Sonic game with 100 percent original levels was Colors which was on the Wii and released fifteen years ago
