1.6 is actually horribly janky I don't get why oldfags still play it, I only voted for 1.6 because I had actually played it before and had mild fun with the three kills I managed to get with its retarded gun physics.

The most 1.6 I've played is I think Condition Zero and I could hardly tell if I was actually hitting anyone when I shot someone in that game. Shooting in CS:S just feels much better.

After the success of the Terraria Server, I've personally been wanting to get into Counter Strike again, thanks to CSGO shutting down. I hate CS2 and I'd like a classic CSS experience with like 5 v 5 as it should be or 2 teams vs eachother, but cant do that because most css servers these days are full of cheaters or bots or insane players and theres no matchmaking system, so I'm wondering if any of you would be interested in just a normal CSS or CS 1.6 server, maybe with the ability to vote for maps, etc.

2 choices however, CSS OR CS 1.6
For this to work I kind of need enough people to fill 2 teams, ideally 10 people so we can play an actual match of counter strike.

I hate CS2 for these reasons:
- Runs like shit on my PC
- Literally just CSGO but everything is brighter and looks like cancer
- They're adding shitty fucking keychains and more cosmetics and shit we don't need
- Ruining classic maps for no reason
- Ruined the buy menu and made it so you can't even buy all the weapons anymore you have to only pick a certain few (??? WHY?!?)
- The server browser is now cancer and they fucked over community gamemodes like surf and bhop
- They're allowing you to rent skins now for some reason
- All the achievements are just fucking gone now wow thanks
- Only way I can play the game is if I set it to the worst resolution possible making everything fucking blurry, so what's even the point
- I don't like the new HUD element placement and theres no way to revert it back to where everything should be
- etc

CSS and 1.6 runs better and is more fun, is actually a game about counter terrorism vs terrorists whereas CS2 nowadays is about some wacky Phoenix vs ??? bullshit

The last time we ever played on his server we got de_sparklesbedroom and everyone complained like they always do and he defended it with "this is a very popular ttt map" like nigga, this is counter strike we have guns that instakill from crossmap in an instant and you're busy with gmod maps, he really was proto-mist in the map department.
