This thread has ran its course.
actually its rly more about nichesYou can't prove this happened. Survival of the fittest is a flawed principle when there are many animals now and in the past who are anything but the fittest. Darwin himself addressed this in his book and said he didn't know why and nobody could know why
no such thing as soul, your capability to reason is a biproduct of your brain being so largei do think that u arnet rly capable of reasoning unless you ahve the right soul
our planet changes and so do the species, there are many species who are not the fittest but they occupy a niche in the ecosystem and so continue to thrive (like pandas who started eating bamboo because no one else did)You can't prove this happened. no, chimpanzees didn't need to evolve in their environments they were fine as they were, occupying a stable niche in the food chain. We can only build mri machines because of the generations of knowledge our species has accumulated over the yearsAre you saying that a chimpanzee could build an mri machine or a bullet train if they felt like it, but don’t because they don’t need any tools? I don’t think that’s true.
there is such thing as a soul, and i think u mean byproduct, but there is no rationalistic or biological explanation for consciousness and can only be explained via metaphysical reasoning which leads u to a soul rlyno such thing as soul, your capability to reason is a biproduct of your brain being so large

We needed to evolve complex thinking to survive as a speciesthere is such thing as a soul, and i think u mean byproduct, but there is no rationalistic or biological explanation for consciousness and can only be explained via metaphysical reasoning which leads u to a soul rly
hominids were imbued by God with a rational soul at a certain point in evolutionWe needed to evolve complex thinking to survive as a species
That makes no sense. Why did WE need to evolve it? Why does no one else have it?We needed to evolve complex thinking to survive as a species
there were no such reasons causing hominids to evolve complex thought... what did cause it? language, writing, agriculture, but u cant rly have that without a prerequisite intelligence and there was no evolutionary requiremennt, no sleective pressure selecting for such comp, lex rationalistic intelligence ..We needed to evolve complex thinking to survive as a species
It evolved over time, we did not start with complex maths and geometry, it started with a thing as simple as the first monkey throwing a stone, with each generation only the smartest hominids survived until we became the dominant species in the african savannas. That makes no sense. Why did WE need to evolve it? Why does no one else have it?
1. language started with commands shouted during hunting and during team efforts as in we lift a stone so we scream at the same time to maximize our efforts.there were no such reasons causing hominids to evolve complex thought... what did cause it? language, writing, agriculture, but u cant rly have that without a prerequisite intelligence and there was no evolutionary requiremennt, no sleective pressure selecting for such comp, lex rationalistic intelligence ..
none of that explains why ythere was a selective pressure for greater intelligenc,e indeed most apes seem to be thriving without it, and most animals have languages too! u need to present a reason as to WHY it emergedIt evolved over time, we did not start with complex maths and geometry, it started with a thing as simple as the first monkey throwing a stone, with each generation only the smartest hominids survived until we became the dominant species in the african savannas.

2 writing came from language
3. agriculture is just a protohominid planting a seed
we selected for intelligence over eons of living, it did not happen with a snap
the smartest hominids simply reproduced more because the smarter you were the more food you could get the more chance you had of leaving offspringnone of that explains why ythere was a selective pressure for greater intelligenc,e indeed most apes seem to be thriving without it, and most animals have languages too! u need to present a reason as to WHY it emerged
up to a point, yes, but u can say that about every animal that smarter is better, so why arent they all as intelligentthe smartest hominids simply reproduced more because the smarter you were the more food you could get the more chance you had of leaving offspring
The one thing I don't undertsnad about darwinist evolution is that bess and their hexagon shapesThat makes no sense. Why did WE need to evolve it? Why does no one else have it?
Why they don't do it again?the smartest hominids simply reproduced more because the smarter you were the more food you could get the more chance you had of leaving offspring
If the smartest hominids reproduced more, why do poor peole with low education have more kids than rich people with high education?the smartest hominids simply reproduced more because the smarter you were the more food you could get the more chance you had of leaving offspring
evolution doesn't have a stopping point, once we started to select for the intellect there was nothing stopping us, we adapted to new environments and as we did our intellect grew. Our intellect gave us MASSIVE advantage during our evolution. For other species environment did not require the use of tools and complex cooperation as it did for usup to a point, yes, but u can say that about every animal that smarter is better, so why arent they all as intelligent
this is a societal problem we started to face in the last couple of centuries, nothing to do with our evolutionIf the smartest hominids reproduced more, why do poor peole with low education have more kids than rich people with high education?
that's where the language and elders teaching the newer generations comes into play, monkeys do that too and so all the higher intellect (mammalian specifically) speciesThey did not get their abilities from older ancestor nor did their ancestors do something similar
why do u think our environment required such high intelligence and usage of tools? and yes there is plenty stopping us, evolution stops if a mutation is bad, it cant see into the future and searches for it 'greedily', you say we started to select for the intellect but evolution has no will behind it, there is no intellect behind it, there was no selective pressure to become sapientevolution doesn't have a stopping point, once we started to select for the intellect there was nothing stopping us, we adapted to new environments and as we did our intellect grew.
