i mean its still alive albeit with much less people, last time we had something even nearly as big as finobe we had austiblox/rewinder with like 50k or so users, which ACKed in late 2023 because the owner is a big goy now.

in its place are very shitty 2016/2018 revivals ran by actual cucks and a god awful userbase.

Current revivals either get their entire userbase IP logged and end up completely shutting down (*cough cough* GoodBlox) or are dead as fuck.

Also the fact that 2018 revivals exist is kinda hilarious to me

After playing retrostudio, my idea of an old roblox revival is that it would span 2006-2012/2013. 2006-2009 would not be clients but instead a hyper-accurate simulator with a far better studio than retrostudio. 2010 would be both a simulator and a client, and 2011 & 2012 (or even 2013 & early 2014) would be clients. It would be both a superior retrostudio & a superior austiblox so that way there's no obsessed ip doxxers and a plan B if ROBLOX's legal team starts leaking. No 'cord either, you have to go on the website's forums to talk about shit.
I also told Ruben to buy the rights to Blockland and he did show enough interest to ask Badspot on twitter (

I have never been a fan of hyper-accurate old Roblox simulators inside of Roblox. Not because they look bad, but because you're still subject to Roblox's crappy moderation and word filters on them.

No 'cord either, you have to go on the website's forums to talk about shit.

The forum idea sounds good but, no 'cord for what exactly, for preventing bad people from joining? This might sound like a crappy take for some of y'all here but prohibiting your userbase from being part of related Der'cord servers is not a very effective method to prevent unwanted people from joining your community. They are still going to arrive from other places

Why would you even tell Ruben that? Not that I don't like Ruben Sim (to be honest, I'm not a huge fan of him, but not for the reason you might think), but what the fuck does Ruben Sim have to do with Blockland?
