Red leaked everyone's IP though
can i check this, wanna see if my ip is in the leak. in general though, that happening probably should prompt the staff of the site to allow that to not happen. ever again. for good measure.
Imageboard ≠ xenforo forum retard
yeah i dont think admins on here have access to seeing ips. Whoever hosts the server might, but in general, I don't think so, however, it would seem as if for stuff like Konata's ban that some people probably do have access to seeing IP addresses.
I don't even think reducing the board was a bad idea. It's just the 5 boards left up were retarded.
I think reducing the boards is kind of a bad idea, having as many as possible can introduce clutter, but ultimately, cutting down on them removes a lot of personality from the site and tries to force everyone into the same place. The Sharty is actually more diverse than people realize and in my experience, it's a lot like 4chan but for zoomers and pretty much very little or no pornography. If you need an example, just take one look at 4chan's front page and compare it to the sharty. Everything on 4cuck / 4coom is just lust provoking images, /a/ is..
it's very doctos.
I just looked at /vg/. The horror. In comparison, the sharty is just extremely clean. Albeit there are a few bait threads and images here and there, but not at all as many as 4coom.
Having a big variety of boards for things other than /soy/ is therefore a good idea, because it lets people use the site as an actual better 4chan alternative. Ofcourse the site was primarily just supposed to be about soyjaks, but now it's a lot more than that, it's a part of a "soysphere". I genuinely wouldn't mind having a lot of boards for all sorts of things in that regard, so to get to my point, I ultimately don't really care about low posts per hour or day on boards. The problem is not the board count, it's the population. If we just had more newGODS this wouldn't be an issue at all. We could have 50 boards and their PPH would be relatively high because we'd have people to actually use them.
