This shit is nuts.

I'm sorry for everything that happened last night. I really shouldn't have leaked his IP (however I'll also say that I did not ever ask anyone to try and doxx him), I was pissed off and the entire timeline of events made me completely believe that Dr. was being utterly truthful (him admitting to homosexuality, getting banned, only admitting to all of this stuff only after SmallAnus contacted him via Steam, where the story then seemed to line up, not to mention Cobson saying that it was a week-long "relationship" and that the account that he communicated with was made eight days ago for the sake of communicating with him, I could go further). I also shouldn't have allowed either user to continue being on here, Dr. Cobson for being such a wimpy internet addict and X for trying to previously get an e-girlfriend off of this website. I made multiple terrible mistakes, both in leaking X's IP out of simple, blind belligerence and in allowing either of them to be here as long as they were. This situation is ultimately my fault, so I apologize for it all.

It's fine, you're still a newbie to being an admin here, you're also 16, for such a position it's a pretty young age and it requires a lot of maturity, I think you should be more harsh and strict on users, be patient when taking decisions and also more independent with them. Also not be too impulsive with things, sometimes I struggle with that too, I take a decision too fast, you're an admin of a pretty big website so it's important to always need to have a lot of proof for bans. Also never leak people's IPs, people first of all need to feel secure chatting here. The amount of drama and shit almost made this look real, nevertheless yeah, you should have banned these two users well before all of this happened. This is another life lesson though, everything is a learning experience. Nevertheless, you can only make so many mistakes.

This is something in particular that I'd really like to improve. My decisions are too influenced by the users or, at times, also the jannies (not to throw any shade at SmallAnus here, of course, but I did feel quite pressured seeing a conversation message called "URGENT" pop up in my inbox followed by a bunch of vague, concerning warnings about how absolutely horrid this situation was before we got into contact with one biased source about it).
I shouldn't trust people as much as I do.

idk how this works but doesnt steam support still have access to the dms, could cobson ask support to review the dms and ban him for pedophilia, if he gets banned then the dms are real
it could take up to 3 days though

best advice id give you is that even if the faggot is hated by you or everyone, take everything whit a grain a salt because then you have retards bicking and e grooming each other on steam chat of all places , just think for yourself and rationalize shit

It's fine to make mistakes. You're still new to the job as an admin but what matters is that you want to improve yourself. Keep in mind however that you gotta start improving soon and not mess up like this again because you, as an admin influence the website a lot, and you can either make drama disappear fast, or blow up like this.
