Modern iFunny is the secret ingredient/cancer (depending on your perspective) that definitely kicked off a lot of this humor, I've often heard it described as sort of the "neo-powerhouse" for memes and meme creation akin to "muh 4chan /b/" and shit like that.

This is funny to me because a lot of normies would detest the kind of website ifunny currently is. It's also weird to me that a site that should've died a long time ago somehow still had digital cultural impact in and beyond 2018.
