ok so to install the latest version of this extension possible on firefox you need to download the zip from the gitlab and extract it i highly recommend you remove the .xpi files and .crx once extracted in the folder then you must install web-ext and then run web-ext build you should get a new .zip file that you can run on firefox unfortunately its unsigned so you have to load it in as a temporary extension (these extensions stop working after you close firefox)

you can sign it if you want to but your gonna need a mozilla account and to do other stuff

You don't have to do that, there is a signed extension in the gitlab.
 
how do i make the shlog plusseralderino extension permanent I'm tired of having to read the 'xtension
 
If I ever get the time and motivation (unlikely), I would completely redo this project from Shlog+ 1.6, remove or add the ability to disable pointless shit like max line limit, store colored name/title data so users don't have to leave those big ugly color codes on their title.
 
For now, I'm abandoning this and probably uninstalling (doesn't even work on Chudarchist theme)

Also redesigned settings menu, redesigned news ticker, box to submit news updates, site-wide font/theme customization
 
oh yeah how does schlog amethyst know if a user is using schlog amethyst
