Well obviously our name wasn't created that way so we'll have to use the technical rules to come up with ours.

Wasn't there already a poll that tried to decide between "Schlog" and "Shlog" and neither won and now people just use the two alternatively

This is a completely nonsensical explanation. The word "schlog" has been in use since March 1st, its etimology does not go back to the word "schlock". Most probably, the "sch" trigram either comes from Nihilma being German (which I don't think this is the most probable explanation), or the way it was written was influenced by the word "schlong" (penis).
