The first time I watched the Star Wars movies was as an adult, and they were some of the blandest most forgettable pieces of media I've ever consoomed

I was autistically obsessed with Star Wars in elementary school. I had a Star Wars themed room and almost all of my shirts were Star Wars shirts. I had a ton of Star Wars action figures and legos. I dressed up as Darth Vader for every Halloween, besides one time where my mom wanted me to be Rey. I would spend all day reading my Star Wars books and I could name pretty much every obscure character. I haven’t been into it since like 7th grade and I’ve forgotten most of my Star Wars knowledge at this point.

if i remember right i had about 3 star wars themed birthdays, i was 100% obsessed with this

I was also extremely obsessed with Star Wars when I was younger, oddly I don't think I ever went as any of the characters for Halloween, as instead I went as characters like Mario or Luigi o algo. But I used to collect some of the lego here and there, I think I still might have a Black series Obi Wan or Stormtrooper(?) figure as well as a Snoke figure, I also had a Yoda plush toy growing up. I also vividly remember tuning in to Cartoon Network and seeing the Clone Wars commercials for the Mortis arc and getting really pumped. I also watched the entirety of Star Wars Rebels when that became a thing.
I really loved playing Lego Star Wars: The Complete Saga, that is one of my all time most nostalgic games growing up, I also remember having a Star Wars themed birthday once. I even had a Star Wars cereal box that I shelved in my room for a couple of months-close-to-a-year before throwing it away.
As for knowledge on the series, I taught myself to remember the Jedi code, kyber crystal meanings, I watched videos on various Legends material Sith and occasional Jedi, some of which were over an hour long, like I just consumed, consumed, consumed.

It's nostalgia, I don't think people would feel as strongly about it otherwise. Though the first films were truly incredible visually-speaking when they came out compared to the other stuff that was out there at the time.

unrelated but fuck halloween it sucks [angry]
It gets kinda boring when you get older and I hate saying that because for a long time I loved Halloween, I still love the essence of it doebeit.
But like, when you're a kid you go out and trick or treat, when you're a teenager you're usually supposed to go out and hang out with friends in costume or go to a halloween party, when you're an adult it's kind of just... meh? it only becomes interesting again when you have children of your own and you can repeat the cycle. It's a different kind of atmosphere compared to Thanksgiving or Christmas and Hanukkah.

Halloween would be fun if I had friends to go trick or treating with or to a Halloween party maybe. It’s not really exciting anymore but I get an excuse to cosplay so that’s a good thing. I was Kars this year and no one recognized it but lol.

Just go out and scare random kids

Star Wars is quite lame. People prefer Star Trek but it's the same slop but for communists. Really the only good thing Lucasfilm has ever produced were the first three Indiana Jones movies.
