Eh, It's legal in my state. and I don't see what's wrong with JUST one year less, and that's it. Thinking about things logically and thinking of WHY we have A.o.C laws (preventing the youth from being exploited), them knowing what's right and wrong for their sexual activity is something that develops throughout much of their developmental years that have often reached their end by an age like someone who is at least a few months into being a seventeen-year-old, and when we're talking about what could come about from making things one year less from the usual, magical number of eighteen, we're talking about a miniscule, minority of relationships between people throughout all of society when it comes to people being in relationships with one another, since most people will still be going for people around their age, and the vast majority of people who are going to be dating someone at the youngest acceptable age are people who are also nearby that age. By seventeen, I'm pretty sure a person knows much more than something that is actually an unacceptable age, like fifteen or sixteen, obviously. I myself am still in my teens, so I'm not a legal adult when saying this, yet it's even an understandable concept to myself. Now, thing below seventeen are where I will start to disagree, but seventeen itself seems completely normal and fine, and I don't know why you're freaking out.
