Undoubtedly a common gift people have received for Christmas is money but where do (You) think it should be spent?
I'm debating on many places to put my money, from Mullvad to HOI4 dlcs(I dont know how to do creamapi)
Also Broot please add a finance board so soyteens can get their money up

omg!! which ones? freshwater or saltwater? do you keep fish? how many tanks do you have? gallons of each one? filter na-
I am a ooga booga vivarium caveman rn i got 3 big water containers no clue how much water per container. Only filters i got are algae's doe i migth get one i gotta do more research. The first two vivariums are from a single river the third one however is just a big misc of anything ive collected yet. First vivarium is a mostly snail/dancing worms (no idea what the actual name of the "dancing worms" are but its a kind of common river nematode they can get about an inch long and they transparent they just eat dirt and kinda look they dancing pieces of hair) there used to be a kind of round shrimp thing too be they went extinct. Second vivarium has a small population of dancing worms but is mostly habited by multiple small "things" (idk) not too sure what they are but are different kinds of swimming dot things that seem to maybe filter or detritus feeders also there are a couple hydras and some small shrimps. Last vivarium is full of algea and a bunch of more river beasties doe also some aquarium krill and algea's also one big non parasitic leech that keeps the snail population in control. I was thinking of getting some more colorfull shrimps or snails maybe a crab.

The dancing worms are called detritus worms.

If you don't immediately think of things to buy with it, it's probably best to just save it. I know jack shit about finance but spending money on things that you don't want (much less need) essentially for the sake of spending the money isn't a good mindset to have.
Also the only reason I'm saying this is because I've been in a situation where I really needed/wanted to buy something but I spent the money I had on useless shit that no longer interests me. It's the worst feeling in the world.

I've already listed out what has caught my eye, but after reading a youtube comment about investing I'm curious about where I could store some money that would grow better than sitting it in a bank account. I already have a good amount in my account so I dont have to pay fees on it, plus I have a little bit extra I could use as spending money until I deposit more later. I think I'll get the Mullvad vpn, but I'll give it a little time to think it over, and for now I'm looking for other ways to spend money usefully (but not necessarily immediately).
