Honestly I don't really like giving too much of a fuck for this war but not other conflicts that haven't stopped these past 20 years in other countries. It's just been mediatized so much in comparison to the rest that we talk about it but honestly there's been worse in terms of cruelty and numbers

Yeah, I would agree, the fact that its such a big thing the media pushes (for the state's own political reasons) has only ever really made me reflect more on the state of Earth, and the evil that inhabits it. When you hear a number like the hundreds of millions of dudes who fought and died in all of those wars in a place like China, your brain just kind of blocks out that level of carnage because it's just too big a number, but simplifying it with the experiences of one life makes you then look back and see just how much evil and cruelty the past has held too, shit like Stalingrad, Berlin, and Leningrad or the most recent wars China has experienced, for example.
