what are your thoughts on half-life?

Half-Life is keyed in every way shape and form, the original game is actually my #1 favorite of all time and I can literally play it forever and ever, the expansions are really fun as well that expand the Black Mesa incident to a greater scale. The second game and its episodes are lesser IMO but are still 9/10s.

Valve's theme that you hear in the start of all of their games is actually just the theme from midway through Surface Tension, the longest chapter of HL1. Man the game's cinematics are still incredible today for a 20 year old game, like the tentacle in Blast Pit, the jets in Surface Tension. What if Half-Life was like Pacific Rim?
In this world, Black Mesa would cancel all of their previous projects and divert all of their enegry towards building a Jager (big mech robot), the Nihilanth wouldn't send his tiny footsoilders to earth since Kaijus (giant monsters) would render his aliens obsolete.
Since a Jager needs two pilots, i nominate Gordon Freeman and Judith Mossman (in HL2, Eli said that Judith was up for his job at Black Mesa but since Gordon had more innsbruck experince he got the job).
I'd like to imagine what a Black Mesa Jager would look like, and since they could potentally still be competing with Apeture it would be nice to know what an Apeture Jager would look like, it's possible they would collabarate since the threat of Kaiju's unifies humanity.
