personally idk if im a fag for saying this but as much as i like anonymous imageboards i find that forums like this create a greater sense of community
ESPECIALLY when you have recognizable people like you and SoytanEnthusiast, I guess. Personally? I like community, community is good. There's nothing wrong with being anonymous too, but I find the 'teens who say that this site sucks because its >der cord 2.0 (just because username, which you're not supposed to pick one that you use everywhere, you make one up therefore still anonymous to some extent as long as you aren't retarded, and pfp, which you can just pick a random one or draw one) are just being silly. I miss forums anyways, I thought more people would miss them, given that the only forums people still even actually use these days is fucking reddit or quora or some shit. Forums are OFFICIALLY heckin underground counter culture just like imageboards in my opinion.

It's like I said before, usernames can really help to maintain a site's quality. And speaking of Preddit, you can add Discord to the list for killing off forums. You have no idea how many good sites shut down just to transfer to a Discuck server. And I know there's many people who miss the forum format but Jewgle censors anything that deviates from mainstream websites so they never find them and assume no one cares.
