The thing is, we shouldn't abandon the sharty, it's what we're all doing.
Its home, its what should be our jewel.
Instead we're following the path of Enclyopedia dramatica, lose domains and the entire gimmick of their site, the wiki, and now its just 10-20 oldfags on a forum. Its a future I see not too different from our own.
The people of the schlog are the only ones capable of saving the sharty. We should take the burden, atleast until newfags can ruin what we have built to last for them.

The sharty could last a 1000 years if everyone wasnt a defeatist that thinks becoming a closed community on the schlog that will eventually lose all its members was fine.

There are gems still being made, I believe thing like the hoi4 mod projects show promise(not shilling I swear)
If us hoi4 guys are able to strike the cord in the hoi4 community, which is chock full of trannies and chuds alike, we could start a storm that could achieve a Goonclown or Nemlei-esque perfect storm that would be plenty of fun. Also I've formed this theory before, that 4cuck's administration adopted too much of a social media esque "slop market" approach where everyone can scream into their voids and share their identityless gunk, whereas 4cuck's oldfags, with the prime example being Mootixco, have gone too much into a "hermit" approach where nothing can change because that's what immigrants do. Your description of ED does encapsulate the hermitage, and Froot's slop events do lean into the slop market idea. The Schlog meets that middle ground where the Sharty once was, with both the jannies and users in agreement to stay there. I dont have a name for the middle but I think it's what we should strive for.

Theres dozen prople in this thread that state how the sharty is dead to them, fine with it kicking the bucket, but nobody seems to get that after that, the schlog will basically become stagnant and loose members over time it can't hope to replenish, along with all the soysphere sites and the years of history and work that will be given up if people are fine with the sharty itself no longer existing.

I really do not see the shlog overtaking the sharty any time soon. the amount of accounts made this october that are constantly active are alarming to what its gonna be like in 2025 but I do not think the sharty dying (naturally) will be a problem any time soon. I do think shlog users should try using the sharty a few times a week but theres 0 place like this on the sharty.

There will always be some people around and I don't expect the site to grow to the scale of overtaking other serious websites in usage. Some people are here just because there are people they recognize in the community are here. Some wanted to escape the party. Some are spooked about the datamining stuff and come here because we have none of that. Some are dollists. The blog appeals to a lot of different people, even some who have never been part of the soysphere before. It is not difficult to increase appeal when the staff are level headed and the people are having a good time.
