This. Every splinter is pretty much dead or irrelevant aside from the Schlog, and really the splinters only gained a lot of traction/were being generated after the 'arty went down in August of '23, so the Sharty is pretty much it in regards to the Soyosphere and is currently TERRIBLE, /soy/ is constantly getting raided with a majority of the posts being irrelevant shitposts and bait, every other board outside of /qa/ is alright but slow and or outright dead. No, I’d just leave the Soysphere instead.
I guarantee you 80% of that are slopjaks and the standard arguing over Turkey for some reasonView attachment 86780
this is not a healthy pph/posters ratio
>the raid only ends because the domain gets dropped by namecheap for the 12 time this month>its 2030
>Dolteens wake up to start a new day of shitpositng on baby.diapy.
>Currently, a raid from the frootist splinter soyjack.party flooding the log with diapiecuck slopjaks
>Admin:Dada is to busy on xis forklift to ban the jackycucks raiding and the diapiecucks can't stop them because diapiecucks can't raid.
>frog.bog (spiritual successor to frenschan) hosts all the former sharty posters that because of the sharty getting so bad before its closure, all became frogniggers who use frogs and gigachads only because soyjaks got coopted by reddit.
That website is such a mess, on one hand the people on there genuinely know their shit when it comes to tech (relative to the average /g/nigger) but on the other they're all trannies and self-centered cuntsLainchan
trvkeThe Soybooru is also way better then the sharty for image posting
There actually wouldn’t be so much spam if they just banned Warrior Z, and true it’s definitely more organized on heretrvke
but it's worse for posting wordswordswords
when it was just the 'ru and the sharty the sharty had actual use cases
but now the schlog can do 80% of what the sharty can but better
The 'booru's comments getting turned off would make thing so much worse, the booru's culture is the coal that would kill the Sharty and nobody can convince me otherwise, it would be a huge nail in the coffin. But would we get more people on the Sharty and here if the booru comments were closed?
(The site itself is too valuable for 'jak procurement)
I think things here are the best when my attention isn't divided between multiple sites. Not to mention the party hasn't been something I've really enjoyed visiting for awhile now. There were multiple points in its history to take it off the path it has been on, and the most important one was kuz's purchase. If I had known it was up for sale then I would have bought it and all the nonsense that came afterwards could have been sidestepped entirely, but that doesn't solve the situation over there right now.I want doll to be admin again
its not just warrior-z. pretty much every active user just spams infographs with a singular soyjak CTRL + V'd in the corner or paintbucket recolors with flagsThere actually wouldn’t be so much spam if they just banned Warrior Z, and true it’s definitely more organized on here
What if they locked /soy/ for a week forced everyone to try other boards?
They overlap in /pol/ already they’re would be minimal loss. The 'booru's comments getting turned off would make thing so much worse, the booru's culture is the coal that would kill the Sharty and nobody can convince me otherwise, it would be a huge nail in the coffin.
spam or not spamThere actually wouldn’t be so much spam if they just banned Warrior Z, and true it’s definitely more organized on here
they tried that and the site died within the hour and didn't recover until the day after they lifted itWhat if they locked /soy/ for a week forced everyone to try other boards?
It's like some cocky teacher trying to force kids to work after taking the SAT or some shit kekI don’t think we should look to the jannys for shit to happen it’s always more fun when an event stems from the users.
They probably wouldn’t even go to the ‘broo or here they’d immediately start their own splinter image board sitethey tried that and the site died within the hour and didn't recover until the day after they lifted it
Trvke, the sharty can't be fixed without serious reform but nobody wants anything to change besides adding new SNCA boards and events.I think things here are the best when my attention isn't divided between multiple sites. I think things are at the point that they can't be fixed without radical changes which would create a new splinter or worse. And I don't think any of the current splinters address the issue either as everyone is trying to compete to grab the largest share of coal users. The focus should be on encouraging good users to stay and give them as much room as possible to have fun. The meta drama stuff is a site killer, and when jannies contribute to it, it turns into a conflagration that murders communities. Thankfully @Broot and @Weebhunter3000 made the blog when they did, and I appreciate being here more than any other site. It's been very gemmy.
