At a church I don't remember the name of, the kids, me included, were shown a cautionary animated film. But the film played out like a horror/thriller movie. In the film, a group of missionaries went to a remote jungle via helicopter to contact a tribe. The tribe ended up being hostile, and hunting down and killing them quite bluntly and uncerimoniously. I only remember it because it was probably the darkest ( ) bonechilling spine raping film I watched at the time. I asked the AI about it but it didn't know anything.

I think this is literally it but with all the white people getting killed. Did that happen in this? Also there was a scene where a guy tried to escape with a helicopter and got shot in the neck with an arrow

There are deaths shown in the beginning, they killed them with spears, two by the chest. However, there is no helicopter by means of escape. I do think it is the Jim Elliot story, and you might be misremembering some of the details.

The video I miss the most was some remix of the oroginal cob_sovl (with sopngebob song), but most of the video part was just Sherlock and Watson spadesons drawn on some big 2x2 mosaic with 4 panes going up and down. The music was so odd I liked it.
