• Happy pride month, xisters of the schlog!

Digital Memopad

Today I experienced an aspect of glorious EVROPEAN CVLTVRE and took a train ride downtown. It was actually quite comfy, if I ever move away from the suburbs I wish I could take the train to and from work every day.

On another note I managed to track down the old BlackBerry OS audio files for the ringtone, alarm, and notification tone. I'll post them here for the hell of it. Will probably set them as the sounds on my dumbphone next month.

I'm sitting at my computer right now with some KMFDM playing and I'm genuinely in a good mood for once, I feel like everything is going to be fine. All of the minor inconveniences feel like they can be brushed off with ease when they used to have a death grip on my functioning. I might go make some hot cocoa in a little bit, today started off rather rough (woke up at 10 AM, far too late) but I'm happy now.
I'll stop yapping about SNCA.

That's probably where I'll end up, and I don't mean to say that's a bad thing. To be honest I don't think I'd enjoy a career involving my main skill (le heckin computers) especially if I'm just going to be some I.T. admin getting bitched at by office workers who make twice as much as I do all day. Sounds pretty grim.
While not all of those blue collar jobs involve physical labor, I'll probably need to get fit before I really start doing that stuff.
I knew from the get-go that I'm going to be a member of the working class, and as I'm approaching 6 months since my HS graduation I'm gonna be honest and say traditional college sounds fucking terrible and always has
Have you thought about welding? I'm taking a class next semester for it, but just from what I've read from you i think you'd be interested.
I don't know how to explain it, but to me the "art" of welding kind of lines up with things like machinery, firearms, and vehicles. Something you can learn front to back and take pride in, i guess?
If you want, I'll try to remember to keep you updated on what i think about it when i actually get into the class

That's an interesting prospect, but I worry about potential safety issues since my motor skills aren't exactly top-notch. I think it is a cool thing because like you said there's an element of pride to it and a sense of accomplishment. Then again, a lot of hands-on jobs carry that risk and it might be better than sitting in a boring office all day.

welding is the most interesting trade for me which is why I picked it. I'd pick a trade thats less popular but is still realistic

ill see if my mom can get it for me first, if she's not in a good mood i'll ask you. i'm hesitant because xbox cards are region-locked and iirc you're outside the US so it's probably gonna be a bit of a pain
thank you for the offer
i buy them online so it's not a problem

it's weird but i absolutely hate asking people for money, because i feel like i have to pay them back even if they don't need me to.
isn't it on gamepass?
probably but i dont have gamepass and tbh i dont play multiplayer games so its not an issue

Yeah I hate being indebted to people though. It's OK you can pay me back by setting an ace attorney pfp after 100%ing the game.
