It's not really a lot of money but I changed my mind and I don't want to spend my Christmas budget on useless crap.
Can be anything, I don't know where to start. I'm thinking about buying some skincare stuff, a Bible, and a basic non-smart cellphone though.

I like the English Standard Version.
Most of the Bible verses I see quoted online are taken directly from a digital version of the King James Bible, is it any different from the version you just stated?

Shouldn't be very different at all, KJV and ESV are both accurate as translations, I just find ESV to be more understandable for casual reading. NKJV is probably quite similar in accuracy, albeit I haven't used it all that much. For study, I own a physical copy of the Young's Literal Translation New Testament as well.

Also if you guys have some general book recommendations I would like to see them. Just nothing extremely boring like Pride and Prejudice though. Mainly interested in war stuff, I need to finish Das Boot one of these days
